The Folk Festival on the Canal was co-founded by music industry veterans passionate about folk music, and who felt strongly that the city of Montreal needed an outdoor folk festival.

Hello Darlin’ Productions
Hello Darlin’ Productions is a multi-service arts presentation company specializing in traditional, folk, roots, blues, and bluegrass presentation, production, and artist management. Directors Matthew Large and Rebecca Anderson created Hello Darlin’ in 2002 in order to fill an underdeveloped gap in the Montreal arts presentation scene. Their efforts to bring upper-echelon folk musicians to Montreal and the surrounding area, has resulted in a revitalization of the once heralded local folk music community.
The jewel in the Hello Darlin’ crown is The Wintergreen Concert Series which features the best in Canadian folk music. The series houses one major show per month from September to April. All Wintergreen shows are non-smoking events and showcase one internationally recognized Canadian performer. The Wintergreen Concert Series is also proud to partner with the Sun Youth food bank, and concertgoers are encouraged to bring donations to the food bank every month. The Wintergreen Concert Series is well into its fifth season and is growing in prestige and popularity at an exponential rate.
In addition to The Wintergreen Concert Series, Hello Darlin’ Productions organizes and presents many other concerts and musical showcases.

Hyperbole Music is a dynamic music and entertainment company that specializes in events that offer attendees truly memorable experiences. The signature events from Hyperbole Music are the Decanted Series and the Festival Folk et Vins de Dunham:
The Hyperbole Music Decanted Series is part wine tasting, part concert and all around remarkable wine experience. We believe the wine experience is just as important as the quality of the wine. Combining the right atmosphere, with the right music, and the right people is what will make these evenings so memorable. It’s about making wine more accessible, less pretentious and more fun by pairing it with live music in a beautiful venue.
The Festival Folk et Vins de Dunham is a seasonal event where attendees have an opportunity to discover Quebec music and taste local products from the Dunham region. This event takes place at the Val Caudalies Estate Winery located at 4921 Principale street in Dunham. The Festival Folk et Vins de Dunham features many emerging folk/roots music artists from Quebec as well as international touring artists.
