The Montreal Folk Festival on the Canal is proud to announce that Greenwich Village folk icon Eric Andersen will headline our popular opening gala event at the Georges-Vanier Cultural Centre. After hosting legends such as John Sebastian, Peter Yarrow, and Jim Kweskin at this quaint 200 seater, it was only fitting for us to invite Eric Anderson to launch the 7th annual Montreal Folk Festival on the Canal. This event is a must if you like intimate venues. Great wine and local cheeses will be served, making the evening even more memorable.
